DAY ONE: Sydney - Bundanoon 227 kms
Pick up your motorcycle at our Sydney location and head out of the city. You'll go through The Royal National Park, known locally as the "Nasho". The road is curvy and the area diverse with rain forest and beaches. When you peek out of the forest stop atop Bald Hill for a photo of the deep blue Tasman Sea and Sea Cliff Bridge that you'll be riding across next. You'll follow the coast south to the town of Kiama stop to see their famous Blowhole a spectacular natural attraction.
Make your way inland to the village of Berry. Berry is a great spot for lunch and shopping. From Berry you'll head into the magnificent Kangaroo Valley. The road is windy and the view is breath taking.
You will likely see native wild life and on your way out of the valley be sure to stop at Fitzroy Falls. You'll be staying in a beautiful B&B in Bundanoon tonight. Get there before dusk so you can go to Morton National Park and see the Glow Worms.
DAY TWO: Bundanoon - Sydney 203 kms
Wake up in beautiful Bundanoon and enjoy your morning meal. You're heading back to the city first through Berrima. Berrima has a lot of history with the courthouse that held the first trial by jury and it's famous gaol (jail). Then on to Mittagong another quaint town with lots of galleries and wineries. Next stop is Picton a town with beautiful old buildings and cafes. Stop for lunch or get supplies for a picnic at your next stop, the Burragarang Lookout. The lookout is a favorite amongst local riders. High above Warragamba Dam you see for miles. It's a massive body of water that holds a majority of Sydney's supply. It's also home to a lot of native bird species including glossy black cockatoos and lyrebirds. If you're making the trip on a weekend or public holiday consider a stop at the Wollondilly Heritage Centre in The Oaks. It's a small town museum with information on all the areas you just traveled through. It's mostly farm land as you return to Western Sydney and the motorway that will lead you back to EagleRider.
