  • DAY ONE:  Sydney - Hill End  264 kms

Leave Sydney and head over the beautiful Blue Mountains.  Stop at Echo Point in Katoomba to see the Three Sisters and ride the Cliff Drive along the edge of the mountains.  Head over through historic Lithgow and down to Bathurst before turning on the country road that will take you to the former gold mining town of Hill End.   You'll be staying at the Hill End Lodge.  Tonight have a  pint at the Royal Hotel (circa 1870) or sit around a fire pit roasting marshmallows and staring at the stars.

  • DAY TWO:  Hill End - Dubbo 242 kms

Wake up to a contiental breakfast included at the Hill End Lodge.   Ride out toward Mudgee and be sure to check out the  Robert Stein Winery & Vineyard.  They have a motorcycle museum and have named their wines after the bikes!  Next head through Gulgong  and into the charming little town of Dunedoo.  The pub in Dunedoo is very biker friendly so have a feed and say G'day to the locals.  Next stop is where you're sleeping tonight, Dubbo.  You can check out the Western Plains Zoo, the Old Dubbo Gaol or the famous Royal Flying Doctor's Visitors Centre.

  • DAY THREE:  Dubbo - Bathurst 275 kms

Leaving Dubbo you'll head towards the town of Parkes NSW.  Parkes is famous for two things the annual Elvis Festival and the Parkes Observatory.   During the Apollo missions to the moon, the Parkes Observatory was used to relay communication and telemetry signals to NASA, providing coverage for when the moon was on the Australian side of the Earth.  Visit the 64 m dish for a bit of history and enjoy their cafe before moving on to Orange and Bathurst.

  • DAY FOUR:  Bathurst - Sydney 187 kms

Bathurst is the oldest inland settlement in Australia.  It is most famous for the Mount Panarama motor racing track.  You can ride the track if there isn't an event on and visit the  National Motor Racing Museum. You'll be leaving there and heading toward Oberon the  highest town in the Blue Mountains.  You'll go back through Lithgow but this time you're riding down Bell's Line of Road toward Sydney.  Stop and enjoy the Botanic Gardens at Mount Tomah on this beautiful windy road.  Stop at the orchards near Bilpin for coffee and fresh fruit pasteries as you head back down the mountain towards Sydney.
