  • DAY ONE:  Melbourne 0 kms / 0 mi

You arrive at Melbourne International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Melbourne has been voted as the world's most liveable city.  There are fabulous parks, quirky laneways, restaurants, and cafes and innumerable bars and nightclubs.  In addition, Melbourne is one of the sporting capitals of the world.  Contact us to find out what events are scheduled before you arrive in town. Tonight you will enjoy a Welcome Dinner with your fellow riders before heading off in the morning.
  • DAY TWO:  Mitcham - Cowes, Phillip Island  245 kms / 152 mi

This morning you pick up your bike at EagleRider Melbourne and begin what will be a terrific journey.  Ride some fantastic roads, take in an amazing event and great scenery.  On your first day of riding head for the Phillip Island Race track and accommodation in Cowes but take the less beaten path to get there, traveling due east through the beautiful Gippsland region before turning south and riding along the coast through seaside towns such as Inverloch and Kilcunda before arriving.  The afternoon can be spent at either the Race Track or visiting the many tourism based activities of the island.
  • DAY THREE:  Cowes, Phillip Island 0 kms / 0 mi

Today is a free day where you can visit the Race Track and motorcycle races or take in the many tourist activities of Phillip Island.

  • DAY FOUR:  Cowes - Lakes Entrance 348 kms / 216 mi

We are back on the bikes again.  We will head back the way we arrived before heading north east along the coast to our destination of Lakes Entrance.  We will drop in at Port Albert for some great "fish n chips" before heading off to our final seaside destination of Lakes Entrance.

  • DAY FIVE:  Lakes Entrance - Tathra 292 kms / 181 mi

Today we are heading to the coastal town of Tathra.  Tathra is an idyllic holiday location with a magnificent surf beach frequented by dolphins, is safe for swimming and excellent for fishing.  There is a scenic national park to the south of Tathra and we will ride through this and the coastal towns of Eden and Merimbula on our way to our accommodation.  Time permitting we will visit wharfs at Eden and Merimbula but certainly at Tathra.

  • DAY SIX:  Tathra - Queanbeyan 290 kms / 180 mi

From Tathra we continue travelling north along the coast to Batemans Bay.  Batemans Bay is another coastal holiday town with rolling surf beaches, rock pools and wonderful views.  All things going well we will be here for lunch but then turn left and begin our trip up Black Mountain to Queanbeyan where we will stay the night.   Queanbeyan is just outside Australia's capital city, Canberra. We can duck across the border and visit Parliament House or the War Memorial in the Australian Capital Territory.

  • DAY SEVEN:  Queanbeyan - Wodonga 466 kms / 277 mi

This will be the longest day on the bikes for the trip as we will now travel across the top of New South Wales and cross over the border back into Victoria and our destination of Wodonga.  This day will have it all from a riding point of view.  Long sweeping bends, tight but manageable twisties and then beautiful roads down through the valleys until we reach Wodonga

  • DAY EIGHT:  Wodonga - Mitcham 341 kms / 213 mi

This is our last day but it will be another great day of riding.  We will head back home via the historic towns of Yackandandah and Beechworth before heading further south and over the Black Spur to Healesville.  The Black Spur is arguably Australia's best motor cycle ride despite the fact that it is only about 30 kilometres long.  From Healesville we will travel through the Yarra Valley winery area and back to EagleRider Melbourne in Mitcham.
